The Ascani Family Are Lefties
Dad: Move over on the couch. I need my left hand.
Christina: What do you need it for? Jerking off.
Dad: How did you know I did that with my left hand?
Christina: Haha. I didn't. Do you really?
Dad: Yeah. Back when I used to do it.
Christina: Hahaha. Yeah, okay. That's just really funny.
Dad: Why?
Christina: Because I use my left hand too.
Dad: Oh god! Why did you tell me that!? I don't want to know! You aren't even supposed to be doing that!
Christina: Hey- I'm a woman.
Dad: *Laughs hysterically*
Old Men Should Stay Out Of Yoga
One reason- They could break a hip or some other appendage. I feel it could be a little too strenuous for them at times and they still think they are forty or something and can do some of the positions. Nope. Not possible.
Second reason- They are creepy. I had this one older guy staring at me the whole class and it just made me uncomfortable. Not cool.
Third reason- They breathe really loudly...
I had a terrible dream last night where something had happened to you. As soon as startled awake, I reached for my phone to call you but then… I hesitated. I looked at my phone for a few minutes and then decided against it. I didn’t want to bother you.
We hadn’t spoken yesterday at all. I know it’s not a big deal to not talk for a day- but I think subconsciously I thought...
Cortège
Four o’clock this afternoon, Fifteen hundred miles away: So it goes, the crazy tune, So it pounds and hums all day Four o’clock this afternoon, Earth will hide them far away: Best they go to go so soon, Best for them the grave to-day. Had she gone but half so soon, Half the world had passed away. Four o’clock this afternoon, Best for them they go to-day. Four...

By the looks of it, I am on a black and white kick.
Day Twenty Nine- Goals For The Next 30 Days
- Apply for internships for the summer
- Get through Elements of Ad
- Get to Toronto and see The Decemberists in concert
- Enjoy the winter weather
- Drink gallons of hot chocolate
- Listen to a lot of vinyls
Now that sounds like a great January to me.
I love when I am out running errands for two hours...
It’s great when the radio gods cooperate.

Day Twenty Eight- Something That You Miss
Now that we are getting into the dead of winter, the one thing I miss with all my heart is riding my bike. I miss waking up in the mornings, hitching up my bike to the car, driving over to the bike path and pedaling- headphones in, no thoughts or worries racking my brain; it’s just me, the music and the asphalt. I ache for the fresh air and how it fills every corner of my lungs, the sun...

Day Twenty Seven- A Problem You Have/Had
Actually, this is quite relevent.
Last night I found out that a good friend of mine’s father passed away and I’m not really sure what I can do. I called her and left a message and I am going to attend the services but I don’t know what else I can do. I let her know that if she needed anything or if she wanted to talk, that I am here for her and that if she needed help with the...

For the first year ever...
I don’t have to return or exchange any of the clothes I got for Christmas. I love everything I got and it all fits like a glove!
So if weather permits, tomorrow I am going spinning and then heading to the mall to spend my Christmas money. My goal is to buy a pair of tights, a sweater or two and continue my search for a blazer.
I am quite excited. But I just hope it stops snowing by the...

Day Twenty Six- What Kind of Person Attracts You?
Hmm.
Well the thing that attracts me most to someone is if they can make me laugh. Once I realize that a guy can tickle my funny bone, I really start to notice him. Also their taste in music is something that really draws me in. If he has really great taste in music, that definitely makes them more appealing to me- especially if they love The Beatles. And it’s nice if we have other things...

Hazards of Love
Last night, I bought the album Hazards of Love from The Decemberists and I am just completely blown away by it. I never like an album when I first listen to it. Never. It usually takes me two or three complete listens for me to even start comprehending the album and liking individual songs. But something about Hazards of Love has just taken hold of me. I woke up this morning thinking about it; I...

Day Twenty Five- Someone Who Fascinates You and...
I can’t really pick out a specific person for this because when I find someone interesting, I usually try and get to know them. I’m a very inquisitive person by nature; I’ve been that way since I was a little kid so when a person seems interesting to me, I will attempt to talk to them to try and find out more.
So at some point or another, everyone I am friends with has...

Day Twenty Four- Your Favorite Movie and What It's...
Ever since I first saw Forrest Gump when I was a little kid, it has always been my favorite even though a lot of it I didn’t even understand until much later in my life. This movie is just fantastic to me because I love the way we follow Forrest through this epic journey of meeting historical figures, influencing pop culture, and experiencing firsthand historic events of the 50’s, 60’s and...

Day Twenty Three- Give Pictures of 5 Guys Who Are...
We all know I have the biggest boner for Paul McCartney so I’m not going to even mention him in this. But I am going to give five pictures of men from the past who I am attracted to and five current men who I want to bone. Let’s go!
Classic Men
Anthony Perkins all the way.
Robert Fucking Redford. Fuck.

Gorgeous Gregory Peck

Day Twenty Two- How Have You Changed In The Past 2...
Hmm. Well two years ago, I was a senior in high school and I had just turned eighteen years old. I would say that a lot has changed. Haha.
I think that I have grown up and matured a lot. I have become more aware of the world; I’ve realized that there are people out there who just aren’t very nice and if you aren’t careful, they can take advantage of you. But I have also realized...

Day Twenty One- One Of Your Favorite T.V. Shows
Although I just started watching it, I can tell already that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is going to be one of my favorite T.V. shows. It is just so funny and crude and the plot-lines are ridiculous but somehow still believable. I just genuinely want to be friends with “The Gang” just so I can curse and fight with them. That...

Day Seventeen- Your Highs and Lows Of This Past...
I have had my ups and downs this year but I am actually ending 2010 on a pretty good note. I just had one of the greatest birthdays of my life, I am doing really well in school, my classes for winter quarter aren’t the best but I love the people in them; I have a job that I am somewhat happy with, my family and friends are healthy- Hell, I’m healthy! Not to mention I am lucky enough to...

Day Sixteen- Your Views on Mainstream Music
I don’t really have a problem with mainstream music except that all of it kind of sounds the same to me. When I put on a “current” music radio station, most of the music is pretty homogeneous. Granted there are some catchy as fuck songs out there that I wind up liking, most likely because I hear them in spinning. But other than that, I don’t really concern myself with...

I forgot how different spinning was at NYSC.
They keep the lights off and only have black lights on which is awesome because when I look in the mirror, I can’t tell how red my face is. Haha.
But they use the weird resistance scale of 5 to 10 instead of 1 to 10. What the fuck.
And It’s so much cooler in the rooms. Boner.
The music isn’t as good though. The instructor only played Pink and Black Eyed Peas today. I need some...

Well I love all the people I follow but some of my favorites (in no particular order) are…
Melissa
Carolyn
Shannon
Marie
Halle
Natalie
Bradley
Rachel
Eddie
Wendy
Dylan
They are all spectacular people who have at some point or another brightened up my day with a smile or laugh so you should follow them if you don’t!
Your intelligence is as obvious as your sense of humor.

Day Fourteen- Your Earliest Memory
It’s not something I recall completely but I was three or four and we were on a family vacation in Cape Cod. We visited some colonial education place and I remember having a blast chasing some chickens with my sister. Obviously it didn’t take much to keep me entertained when I was a kid. Haha.

Day Thirteen- Somewhere You Would Like to Move or...
If I had to live anywhere right now, it would probably be in Hoboken, New Jersey. It’s where my sister has lived the past 2-3 years and I love everything about it… except the parking. The whole city has such great character and charm, everything is a quick walk or bike ride away and it’s close to the city but it’s also just far enough away from it. It’s got the best...

I had a great second birthday.
We went out to dinner to my favorite place to eat at home and I stuffed my face with soup, bread and ravioli’s and spent some much needed time with my family.
I opened up my real birthday presents and they were fantastic. I recieved-
The White Album… UNOPENED. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. It’s spectacular because I have one that is sealed- never been opened or heard....
